My therapeutic training is integrative, which means I draw on various modalities to understand human experience. I am trauma and attachment informed, and my work is grounded in a relational approach. I'm interested in the here and now and how this shapes your experience of life and relationships. I'm also particularly curious about how past relationships and early experiences influence our feelings, thoughts, and behaviour patterns in the present.
I describe myself as a deeply sensitive and thoughtful practitioner committed to creating an open and welcoming practice that embraces all forms of diversity and self-expression. I hold deep respect for the unique story each person brings to the therapeutic process. I hold a safe space for clients to explore meaning in their life challenges. I also integrate body awareness into my practice in ways that resonate with each individual.
People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons. You might be facing a specific issue you'd like to work through; feeling stuck or disconnected, or wanting to understand yourself more deeply. Perhaps you've noticed repeating patterns in your life that no longer feel helpful, or you have a sense that life could offer more. You may be going through a difficult transition, coping with the impact of a traumatic event, or carrying the effects of childhood experiences or abuse.
I will be alongside you in exploring this at a pace that is right for you.
